Development and Distribution of Voice for Humanity Devices to Promote National Unity, Election Education, Drug Control, Democracy, Peace and Health and Hygiene

This project’s duration was from August-October 2004 with Voice for Humanity funded by USAID. We facilitated content development. Recognizing the demographic importance, electronic devices were distributed to men and women in targeted communities in rural areas in Kunduz, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Nangarhar, Laghman, Takhar, Kandahar, Zabul, Helmand, Nimrooz, and Uruzgan provinces and to the Save the Children and the Governors’ offices in Nangarhar and Nimrooz provinces. WADAN also arranged focus groups and conducted a poll regarding the effectiveness of the project.
