Development and Distribution of Voice for Humanity Devices to Promote National Unity, Election Education, Drug Control, Democracy, Peace and Health and Hygiene

WADAN jointly implemented this project with Voice for Humanity funded by the USAID in August 2004. WADAN facilitated content development. Recognizing the demographic importance, these devices were distributed to men and women among target communities in rural areas such as Kunduz, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Nangarhar, Laghman, Takhar, Kandahar, Zabul, Helmand, Nimrooz, and Uruzgan provinces and to the Save the Children and Governor's office in Nangarhar and Nimrooz provinces. WADAN also arranged focus groups and conducted a poll regarding the effectiveness of the project.

This project was completed in October 2004.
