Rapid Assessment Survey - Poppy Cultivation: 2005

This project was funded by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in January 2005 with the objectives to determine the level of poppy cultivation in Afghanistan prior to the full fledged opium poppy survey that UNODC jointly conducts with the Ministry of Counter Narcotics annually. WADAN implemented the project administratively while UNODC was responsible for the field work and program.
